In response to COVID-19 Pandemic, "Our Autism Lifestyle: A Parent Support Network" presented a FREE virtual meeting on Zoom: "HOW TO TEACH YOUR CHILD TO WEAR/TOLERATE A FACE MASK"

Calling all Parents, Caregivers, and Educators of children of all ages and all abilities! If you are having a challenging time teaching your child/ren (with or without Autism or Special Needs) how to wear/tolerate a face mask as well as constant hand washing, then you are invited to watch our video.

*Please note that the training excludes those individuals with chronic or severe medical challenges or those individuals who cannot take off the mask themselves. When in doubt always consult your doctor.

Covid-19 Preparedness. Covid-19 has created a need for children to learn new skills. Everyone, including children may need to learn to tolerate wearing a mask for hours and handwashing is now more important than ever. This workshop will focus on teaching parents the skills they need to be able to teach their child how to wear a mask and wash their hands.

 

About the Presenter: Mike Marroquin is a doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst and New York State licensed behavior analyst who has worked with children with autism and related disabilities for over 15 years
